A graduate of Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Robert Jones earned a bachelor of arts in history in 1997. He received a doctor of medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, Columbia, S.C., in 2004. Dr. Jones was awarded a number of scholarships as a student, and served as an intern at Tuomey Healthcare System, Sumter, S.C., both before and during medical school.
