After completing a bachelor of science in sociology from Texas A & M University, College Station, Texas, in 1998, Dr. Sheila Tecson earned a doctor of medicine from University of the East, Philippines, in 2003. Before entering the surgical residency program, Dr. Tecson was employed for two years as a medical assistant for Dr. Pankaj Shah, Houston, Texas.
