Dr. Timothy Brock earned a doctor of medicine from the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia, in 2007. He is a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia, with a bachelor of science in biochemisty and molecularbiology.

During his last year of medical school, Dr. Brock participated in a volunteer medical mission trip to Ethiopia through the Medical College of Georgia Emergency Medicine Department. As an undergraduate research assistant he was involved in research into the role of glycosyltransferase over-expression in tumor cells.
